Edwin is at it again!!!

Most of you will remember that we have celebrated Edwin’s numerous successes in the sport of cycling over the years, well he’s got that winning habit again.

Ed competed in the British Cycling Championships at the Newport Velodrome over the weekend of 3^rd and 4^th July and came away with 2 golds and a silver in the 60-64 category.

On receiving congratulations from colleagues Edwin said “it should have been three golds!” which is typical of his winning attitude and the high standards he sets himself.

His first success was on Saturday when he took on a very strong field to win the Sprint Series. He followed this up later in the day by winning Gold in the 10k Scratch event.

After a night’s rest he returned on Sunday afternoon for the Points race finishing a close second to take the silver medal.

Edwin now turns his attentions to the World Championships in Portugal in October where he will be entitled to wear the Red, White and Blue jersey that confirms your status as the champion of your country.
