Increase in reports of hate crime following EU referendum – a message from Julie Haigh (Chair) and Michelle Reid (Chief Executive) of Cynon Taf Community Housing Group Cynon Taf Community Housing Group strongly believes in the strength of diverse communities, where everyone has the chance to live well, and to live free from intimidation, discrimination and prejudice. Since the announcement of the recent EU referendum, we are deeply concerned to see a steep rise in reported hate crime. We want to make it clear that we will not tolerate discrimination, harassment or intimidation of our tenants, our volunteers, our staff, our Board Members, our partners, or anyone else in our communities. If you experience any form of hate crime, please contact us on 0345 2602633 and we will do whatever we can to support you. If you would like more information on ways victims can receive support or report hate crime please visit http://www.reporthate.victimsupport.org.uk/.
